Dear Fire Lookout Hosts:
Wow! Can you believe the 2012 season is almost here? Are you looking forward to getting back up to your lookouts for another exciting season? We hope so!
All returning Lookout Hosts need to take the 3-hour RECONNECT class in the Spring. We have several dates and places for you to take the classes. Pam and I find representing the Forest Service a true privilege and we hope that you find this kind of volunteer work as rewarding as we do. We all look forward to seeing you again!

If you were in the program last season and not able to make Reconnect
this year, please contact the Lookout Leader to be placed on the
training list for next season.
PLEASE NOTE: Reconnect sessions are only for returning Lookout Volunteers who staffed a lookout in the 2011 season. For
those former volunteers who are interested in the program, or those
who did not work sufficient hours last year, you will need to attend
the regular training sessions. If you have any questions contact the
